First, Clark was not completely, 100% heterosexual, contrary to prior evidence, which included some truly pathetic behavior on Lex’s part. Thus, Clark had rejected Lex himself, not Lex’s equipment. Lex actually felt himself moving through Kubler-Ross’s five stages of grief: denial (she can’t be right; she’s never met Clark’s boyfriend; there’s no actual reason to think he has a boyfriend—except for what Clark says about his boyfriend’s eyes, moron), anger (wondering how hard it would be to run the Kent farm into the ground and get Clark kicked out of school), bargaining (maybe he’s changed his mind and would like me now), depression (Dad was right; no one could genuinely want me, and certainly no one like Clark), and finally acceptance (a mélange of all these feelings, with a thin candy coating of calm). 1. | I was watching Junjou Romantica yesterday and lol'd at Episode 2 because of this: ( Eggplant/Tomato hybrid = Eggmato? Tomaplant? ) My wallpaper is Eggplant!Draco/Tomato!Harry by red_rahl ("A Match Made in Veggie Heaven"), which was inspired by potteresque_ire CharacterDeath!VegetableSmut ("Eggplant Parmesan").FYI, I've read tomato slash (non-character death) before, penguin slash (+ baby!rock), snake/rock, etc. (Considering that fruits are not inherently male/female, how do you differentiate slash from het? Eh.) Anyway, Junjou Romantica is this totally cute Boys Love series that is not brain cell-damaging like Gravitation or lame-as-a-lame-camel-can-be like Kyou Kara Maouh. FYI, the anime art is actually an improvement over the manga art. Also, I like this better than Love Mode because the characters are twisted in a v. believable way =DDD Handy character guide, of a sort. ( Plot summaries for Junjou Romantica, Junjou Egoist and Junjou Terrorist ) Fun, yes? X-D I sorta picture Miyagi/Shinobu as Snaco with past Snucius, haha. Except that Shinobu's unending fount of confidence is more Harry-ish than Draco-ish. Go ahead and give it a try! =D Just be prepared for embarrassing sex noises here and there, haha. | Remember those old skool H/D fics, where the boys get into a not-quite-healthy relationship (because everything's so intense and so quick), and Lucius and/or Narcissa intervenes and pulls Draco out of school, and everyone around Harry is not-so-secretly relieved, and Harry soldiers on, only half-living his life? So OotP rang the death knoll for those, but now we can relive it again through AS/S! Go read hollycomb's This Year's Love! | I just watched Becoming Jane, and it makes me want to read a Jane Austen biography. (I thought Cassandra is the cousin not the sister?) - I like Mr Wisley (the guy who proposed). He's just so earnest *_* --the redeeming point of the movie, IMO. If you rent the DVD be sure to watch the deleted scene where he practiced dancing X-D In an unused room with a kitten in the middle of the floor <3 O HAI I think I have a glimmer on what my Theodore Nott is like. Yay-ness. - The actor who plays Mr Lefroy (Jane Austen's love interest) is the way I picture Neville when he's all grown up (With a smaller nose. His nose is a bit on the largish side. ). The way he looks that is, not his personality X-D And goodness he's James McAvoy, the faun in Narnia. Neville crossgen, Y/N? - Henry (Jane's brother) looks like Boyd from afar, lol. But there's going to be an Animatrix-style Batman anime released on DVD 2-4 weeks The Dark Knight release. - Behold, Bruce Wayne the - A 9:40 video clip on Batman: Gotham Knight I want to watch it <333 Batman = totally a Japanese hero. Angsty, dark past, woe-is-me-I'm-an-orphan, everyone-who-I-love-left-me-boo-hoo... Since the target audience is younger than Animatrix' target audience, I'm hoping that B:GK won't be as disturbing... (The humans raping a female robot scene in Animatrix crept me out. So much. And the robot falling in love with a female human D:) On one hand, I want to see Robin in B:GK. On the other hand, I'm sorta thankful for the absence of "Dick Grayson, twelve years old" because I'm going to be sorely tempted to ship them otherwise.
