I'm all caught up with Merlin 2X06 now. Arthur's neatly brushed (combed?) bangs under his crown in 2X06 makes me want nerd!Arthur fics.

1. Sorority Boys -- with Merlin, Arthur and Will. Arthur/Ann clearly must be Adam/Adina, with his complex about his/her fat ass arse >=D
Will is the stoner eternal senior who takes crossdressing in stride.
Morgana is the nearsighted sorority president, because Katie McGrath wearing glasses IS CANON. Gwen is going to beat Merlin up (or get Lancelot to beat Merlin up) when she realized Merlin had been taking showers with Morgana =O

Sir Leon can be the sleazy scumbag loser who roofied Arthur/Ann.
Cedric is the guy who stole the fraternity's money and blame Merlin.

Uther hitting on Merlin on the yatch = BONUS because he's always thought Arthur's friend isn't quite right in the head.

2. Hors de prix/Priceless -- with Merlin as the golddigger Irene and Arthur as the hotel barman Jean. Merlin mistook Arthur as a millionaire and put the moves on him. Arthur went along with the charade, fell for Merlin, etc.

A year later, the two met again at the same hotel. It's Merlin's birthday and he's had a cozy arrangement with Uther for three years now. Uther caught Merlin cheating with Arthur, Merlin threw his lot in with Arthur only to realize that he's the help AHAHAHAHAHA.

Merlin moved on to Lancelot (du Lac sr. just croaked, leaving his massive wealth to Lancelot). Arthur wouldn't give up on Merlin and ended up being Lady Helen's boy toy so he can continue going on dates with Merlin.

I stopped watching the movie at this point so IDK what happened next, haha.

3. I'm contemplating claiming Bluebeard over at tobreakthespell. But IDK if I'll be motivated to see the fic through, since it's not a happy one =/

For some reason I can't think of any happy fairy tales that match the Merlin fandom =S (that hasn't already been claimed, that is.)

n00b drawing mistakes fixed by my art beta, rea_saint. The leather upholstery belongs to him (the idea of it, that is, not the physical object.) If I'm not lazy I would turn this into a lineart and beg someone to color it. Unlikely to happen, but if someone has advice on how to turn sketches into linearts, I'm all ears.

1. This is the picture that, two months back, I was sketching and thinking, "You know who's skinny? Merlin!"
I want a modern-day!AU where Merlin's an underwear/swimsuit model and Arthur's a photographer, and it's for a borderline soft pr0n magazine. And Arthur's giving Merlin half-breathy directions, and Merlin's getting turned on and his eyes gleamed gold.
Whoops, didn't mean to go the anthropomorphic dragon route there.

2. Why is it that I'm so much more shameless when it comes to Merlin/Arthur pr0n? It's not that the fandom's kinkier than HP. Is there even a kinkier fandom than HP?
Not to mention completely shameless about Bradley/Colin too. Huh.

3. I think I've pinpointed why I'm uninterested with Merlin RP games. Merlin, Arthur, Morgana, Gwen...they're all main characters. In HP, I can RP as obscure characters (Padma, Terry, Al, Scorpius), only-exist-in-notes characters (Su Li), my own OFC (Jade Malfoy)...even Draco's not a main character in canon except for HBP.

With Merlin, I can't help but be more judgmental and going "OoC! OoC!" when an RP-er's interpretation of the character significantly differs from mine.

1. Is there a Merlin LDWS comm. somewhere? We have Merlin tweetfic comm., there should be a Merlin LDWS, yeah?
LJ, IJ, DW, doesn't matter.

2. Also, LDWS comm.s, why the high upper limit? 499-word = flopsy, not a drabble. And 1K words = ficlet, not a drabble.
This is what modding a drabble community get you, you turn into a purist without realizing it =P

3. You know what Merlin pastiche hasn't been done yet? Merlin/FMA. So, Merlin characters in an FMA-like world.
Consider this: magic ~ balance // alchemy ~ equivalent exchange.

Merlin saves Arthur's life but Something Goes Horribly Wrong. Arthur comes back to life, but now he's caught in a never-ending loop of Saving the Day and Dying a Bloody, Tragic Death at a Terribly Young Age.
After the however many times Merlin had Arthur dying in his arms, Merlin swears to break the circle. But what does Merlin have left to offer up in exchange (and not having Arthur die on him again?)

The stories posted at holidaysmut are mostly original slash, but fanfic, femmeslash and het are also welcome. Using HP fandom's smut-o-meter, a lot of the stories I've seen are in the PG-13 range. (If I'm looking at the tamer stories, by all means, someone link me to the NSFW ones =P)

To quote the mod:

So Draco Malfoy was secretly Sirius Black's underage lover, and he was being all angsty in the library of Malfoy Manor because he couldn't see his cousin, who was confined at Grimmauld Place.

In comes Snape with his black robes whipping behind him, telling Draco that "the fool Black" had gone to the Department of Mysteries and fell into the Veil.

Draco shed a perfect teardrop. Snape tried to console him.

Sixth Year happened. Voldemort (who's now all pretty and young again thanks to some awesome elixir Snape brewed up) loved to taunt Draco about Sirius, Lucius and Narcissa.

Seventh Year. War, blah blah blah. Harry was going to hold Draco's wand ransom until Draco would agree to shag him. To his consternation, Draco could not be found anywhere.

One day, Harry was ogling pretty figure skaters on TV when he noticed that the slim French Canadian skater had the same Sectusempra scars that Draco had.

Thanks to your stupid interview and family tree I now have:
- three Scorpiuses in my head,
- three Draco's wives,
- this re-surging urge to ship Draco/Charlie (who stayed single = YAYZ \o/),
- this out-of-nowhere urge to ship Scorpius/Louis Weasley (Bill's son) and Scorpius/Lysander Scamander (Luna's son) because those two have the coolest name ever D:
AND
- this urge to write Scorpius Hyperion Malfoy/Rose Weasley JUST BECAUSE.

P.S. In my S.S.M. fanon, Scorpius is younger than Al and Rose though. Score is also born in 2006, like Al and Rose--but he was born on August 31, 2006 *g*. They started attending Hogwarts in 2017. Darn I might need to revise my 20 Things timeline.

I've written ten out of 20 things for Scorpius Amaryllis Malfoy, and one 589-word scene in which S.A.M. and Al Potter are in their Sixth Year and just had their first fight after certain revelations during a game of "I've Never" with other Slytherins =P
Ha. Haha. I just love my Malfoys too much.
