“Let her play with it for a little while, darling. When you visit the Parkinson Estate, you can play with Pansy’s toys.”

“Don’t want stupid girl toys. The broom’s all mine! Daddy said so.”

Narcissa arched an eyebrow. “All right. But you’re not having any guest over until you learn hospitality rules.”

Draco frowned.

“Pansy is a lady. You should be nice to ladies.”

Draco looked at Pansy skeptically. “Here. If you break it, I’ll hex you.”

Rights, I guess, equals entitlement, equals a demand for privilege. It's hard for me to think of a right to be free when I've grown up in a family and a society where my family members - and country members - have sacrificed everything they are (in "Western terms") for their family. Their time, all their income, every inch of their soul and being, in family. Their children are their assets, their stability is their bedrock. Whatever right one has to be something less than practical, to leave the family home, that right gets overwhelmed by other desires. Same as freedom. The desire to see parents happy, or the wish for a smooth life, even in exchange for doing what one loves.

3. Why Aren't People Commenting on My Post/Story/Whatever?

Gaius gave him the look from the previous night, the one which questioned Merlin's intelligence. "We're in a crowd. The conditions are ideal. Surely Hunith taught you…" He trailed off at the look on Merlin's face. "Or not. I revise my earlier opinion; your mother is either very stupid, or even smarter than I thought."

"Hey!" said Merlin, and then, "What?" again.

"Very sneaky of her, to stick you under my nose and flaunt your lack of basic education." Gaius waggled a plastic cup at him sternly. "I most certainly did not intend to spend my retirement running a school for amateurs, but I suppose I have no choice now. Very well. Watch closely."

Merlin, Gwen, and Morgana are making plans to steal Arthur's sword. As Merlin ends in the jail, Gwen and Morgana steal around. Arthur tries to get his sword back, but he accidentally becomes Merlin's fangirl. Merlin returns the sword in the end, and Arthur joins the thieving group.

An interesting take on Peter Pan's origin story:

Hook reflects upon his precious collection
Warning: chan, non-con (not graphic, thus the R instead of NC-17 rating)

One by one, Hook found boys he thought would suit. They were to be Peter's companions, so they had to be worthy, and it was very rare that the Captain found lads that were acceptable. But when he found them, he took them regardless of circumstance and without remorse. Peter would have his friends, no matter who Hook had to kill to get them.
