Scorpius lowered his glasses and gave him a look. “Unlike your parents, my parents were perceptive enough to guess that I’m gay back in fourth year.”

Al blanched. “You mean—”

“When my dad said, ‘I’m glad my son has you to take care of him,’ he didn’t mean it platonically,” Scorpius said.

I just watched Becoming Jane, and it makes me want to read a Jane Austen biography.
(I thought Cassandra is the cousin not the sister?)

- I like Mr Wisley (the guy who proposed). He's just so earnest *_* --the redeeming point of the movie, IMO.
If you rent the DVD be sure to watch the deleted scene where he practiced dancing X-D In an unused room with a kitten in the middle of the floor <3
O HAI I think I have a glimmer on what my Theodore Nott is like. Yay-ness.

- The actor who plays Mr Lefroy (Jane Austen's love interest) is the way I picture Neville when he's all grown up (With a smaller nose. His nose is a bit on the largish side. ). The way he looks that is, not his personality X-D
And goodness he's James McAvoy, the faun in Narnia. Neville crossgen, Y/N?

- Henry (Jane's brother) looks like Boyd from afar, lol. Like...3 meters away =P
There was even a nekkid Neville/Draco Lefroy/Henry moment. Of a sort ;-)

An eight-year-old ran around chasing fairies away from their comfortable perches on the honeysuckles. The boy's cheeks were stung red from the wind, and the face beneath flyaway blond hair was gleeful.

“Be careful with their wings, Scorpius!” Draco called out as his son darted behind a birch tree.

Draco thought their move away from Britain was for the best. He had wanted to give his son a happy childhood sheltered from ugliness.

“Scorpius, don't touch that!”

Scorpius retracted his hand. “Is it another cursed book, Papa? Grandma said you shouldn't leave them lying around.”

Draco raised an eyebrow at his son's bossy tone. “I bet Grandma also said good little boys shouldn't snoop around their father's study.”

The six-year-old pouted.

Picking the book up with reverent fingers, Draco said, “A...friend left this for me. The notes he penned between these pages are invaluable.”

Scorpius’ eyes rounded. “Does it have all sorts of brilliant hexes and curses?”

Draco smiled. “Tell you what—I’ll let you read it when you receive your Hogwarts letter.”

Draco eyed Florean Fortescue’s glass display with the desperate longing of a denied sweetaholic.

"The Dental-Wizard said no hot or cold food for three days," Harry reminded his boyfriend.

Draco huffed in annoyance. His attempt at a Malfoy glare only made him look silly with his swollen pink cheeks. Shortly after his twenty-eighth birthday, Draco’s wisdom teeth had suddenly grown in. All four of them.

Harry realized that he was not quite successful in masking his amusement when Draco’s left eye started twitching.

Hastening to avoid a full-blown Malfoy tantrum, he quickly pointed at a jewelry store. "Look, pretty rings!"

Last year I lucked out both for the fic I remix and the remixed fic I received \o/
I love the idea of remixredux (in comparison to hd_remix, where you remix an H/D fic you've probably read for an author you've probably interacted with before. Dunno, just not as inspiring to me.)
It's an excuse to write gen, a pairing you never write before, or a fandom that you usually don't write in =)

My past remix is: "The Silent Son (The Unutterable Words Remix)" The original is Sirius gen, my remix is Regulus gen. The story coagulated in my brain for weeks, then I wrote the whole thing in one day =)
And my Draco (dm1980) gen drabble was remixed into "Brewing the River Styx (From Styx to Lethe Remix)"--which I adore <333

I'll have to write as many drabbles as possible by March 1 to give my remixer more choices \o/ And I'll try to have "Love Hopes All Things" rewritten by March 1 too so it can qualify to be remixed *g*
