The Durmstrang Letter (Another Place Remix) [Ron Weasley, 100 Words, G]
Ron would never admit this to anyone, not Harry and certainly not Hermione, but when he was ten he wrote a letter asking for admission to Durmstrang.

He never did send the letter. When the twins scared him with Giant Squid stories, he would picture that letter, tucked away in a chest under his bed with his old teddy.

Once sorted into Gryffindor, he forgot all about the letter until the Durmstrang delegation arrived for the Triwizard tournament.

He wouldn't trade his friendship with Harry for anything, but just imagine: he could've gone to the same school as Viktor Krum!

BTW, I think I'll actually enjoy the Ron/Lavender moments in HBP. Remember when your girlfriend would whine about wanting a boyfriend, because they want to feel cherished, etc. etc.? Yeah, getting those vibes from Lavender here.
